The England International Jamie Vardy scored his 50th Premier League goal last night against the Manchester United. He scored the goal to put the team into lead at the King Power Stadium but sadly the match was tied with 2-2 score. But irrespective of the result, Vardy proved his worth in the team against the big-six teams of Premier League. He scored a marvelous goal yesterday in the 27th minute of the game against Red Devils. He is undoubtedly the main source of score to the Leicester since it joined the top flight in 2014 and repeatedly proved him a great asset in the team.

Riyad Mahrez was brilliantly took the ball to the edge of the Manchester United box where he had been held up by Chris Smalling. He then passed the ball into the path of Vardy which he then executed with a clinical finish past David de Gea on 27 minutes. As a coincident, Vardy’s first goal in the Premier League also came against Manchester United during Leicester City’s memorable 5-3 home victory over the United in September 2014.

The 50th goal of Jamie Vardy also maintained his excellent record of scoring against the big six teams of the Premier League – Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham, against which he loved to score the most. Vardy also scored the winning goal against Manchester United at home in the 2015/16 season, the same season where they achieved the Premier League title under then-manager Claudio Ranieri.
